Careers and Volunteering at Serenity House
COME JOIN US TO HELP ADDRESS HOMELESSNESS IN CLALLAM COUNTY!
Serenity Houses of Clallam County’s employment goal is to be A GREAT PLACE TO WORK, because our mission serves people on some of the worse days of their lives. If you are optimistic, a problem solver, and driven to believe “all people deserve opportunity to live with dignity,” please join our team!
We employ 70 people in Port Angeles, Sequim, and Forks. We believe our agency should reflect the demographics of Clallam County and strive to maintain that diversity and balance in our work place. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer!
We are proud to say 35% of our employees have lived experience with homelessness. Giving people second chances and the chance to help others in the community through understanding and proving one can step from homelessness to success is a great asset to our agency.
A day in our work is very rewarding when you have housed someone that has been homeless, change a perspective in the community, or brought someone into the shelter that has been struggling in a tent.
Our salaries and benefits are competitive. We offer 4 weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO) per year, paid holidays, and 1-week sick time with the ability to accrue sick time. Serenity House pays 75% of your Regence – Medical, Delta Dental, and VSP Vision, and have Aflac available after 60 days of employment.
Our employees are our greatest asset! We strive to provide work/life balance.
