Funding
Serenity House has no automatic funding sources; it is not supported by any tax-based funding and has to compete for public and private grants. Some government grants that Serenity House has received include monies from THOR, 2060, CTED and McKinney-Vento funding. Besides competitive grants, Serenity House’s two thrift stores and private donors fund its operations. Serenity House is a United Way agency.
